Die Antwoord- Rich Bitch

SebtastiAn- Total

While watching, pause the video randomly to see a still frame of some freaky shit. Oh and the site I watched this one says NSFW.

Kanye West- All of The Lights

Best tweet I've seen about this vid is: "Hype Williams does not care about people with epilepsy." HA

Tyler, The Creator- Yonkers

This is the illest shit you will see in your life!!! fucking genius. so fucking hard. so fucking raw. watch out for this dude. Check out him performing as the rap duo Odd Future on Jimmy Fallon too below.

Nas & Damian Marley- Patience

DISTANT RELATIVES "Patience" from nabil elderkin on Vimeo.

Nicki Minaj and Will.I.Am- Check it Out

Die Antwoord- Evil Boy

fokk

MGMT-Congratulations

Okay, so this is the most anticlimatic/what the fuck video ever...

MIA- XXXO

Kanye West- Power

I didnt post this when it premiered last night cause I thought there was something wrong with MTV for only playing like a minute of the video. Butttt thats just how long it is! wtf? but still brilliantand its not a video, its a painting haha

Riot !n Paris- Attack of the 5 ft. Hipster

Okay, this is pretty illlllll. Riot !n Paris (who I will have to do an Artist of the Week about) put out this video that makes me think duh! why hasnt anyone thought of this before?? What an awesome idea to do a 'Choose Your Own Adventure' type video, you know like the mystery books when you were a kid?! Of course, this was only made possible by youtube enabling links to be put in their videos, but this is definitely something to check out.

Lady Toker's Monthly Mix: July 2010

Ok so this month's mix is kinda all over the place! Basically it can be summed up as some feel good songs to get you movin in this last summer month. Do I hear sophomore year approaching?? AHH

Drake- 'You Know You Know'

Not gonna lie I used to REALLY dislike this guy. Guess I was a hater, cause Drake goes hard. Unlike most rappers in the game, he's not all about the bling and the women. He talks about real shit. I can respect that. andddd his rhymes are pretty ill. Anyways, this is one of my favorite songs by him, and it was produced by Kanye!
(btw, lol at that pic right?)

Kanye West- 'Get Em High' (RATATAT Remix)

Speaking of Kanye, here is a remix of 'Get Em High' from RATATAT. Not only are they great because they are named after a pokemon, but they make this eh (in my opinion) track of Kanye's into a chill bob-ya-head song. It's off of RATATAT's mixtape from 2004, Ratatat Remixes Vol 1.

Tupac- 'Do For Love' (Vodka & Milk Remix)

Here's another remix, but this time coming from Vodka & Milk. They take a classic and bring it to the club. Faster pace and an electro twist makes this a party jam.
Download it HERE/ check out there other stuff, too it's pretty tight.

Rihanna- 'Rude Boy' (Cosmic Dawn Remix)

Another party jam for yo' ass. 'Rude Boy' , one of the hottest jams this summer got remixed by Cosmic Dawn, and this is the jem.
Download HERE.

Wale- 'Rude Boy' (Freestyle)

"Rhianna had a hit wit this, so I gotta spit to dis." This freestyle by Wale over 'Rude Boy' is pretty dope, playful, and totally vibe-able.

Kid Cudi- 'Mojo So Dope'

This was released on a new Young Money mixtape and is most likely a song that will be on Man on The Moon II. Can't wait to hear the rest!
Download the above mentioned mixtape/this song HERE.
(btw, mixtape has 14 WORLD PREMIERE songs, like Cudi's)

Rob Roy- 'Fur in My Cap'

Here's a new dude on the scene, Rob Roy.  There's not much out there on the interwebs about him, other than he has a mixtape and a DOPE ASSS MUSIC VIDEO. (One of my favorites of all time, seriously)
Download his mixtape that includes this song HERE.

Here is his most popular song and below, the vid.

Chromeo- Don't Turn the Lights On

Nicki Minaj- Your Love

N.A.S.A.- 'Strange Enough' (feat. Karen O, Ol' Dirty Bastard, & Fatlip)

this vid is deff strange enough. ha

ARTIST OF THE WEEK: Chiddy Bang

Chiddy Bang is a hip hop duo from Philadelphia, PA. Emcee Chidera "Chiddy" Anamege, and DJ/Producer Noah Beresin, a.k.a. Xaphoon Jones, met while attending Drexel University in Philly.

Their music sounds to me like rapping over an indie electro hip hop baby.
 My favorite kind of baby.

Chiddy Bang often samples underground favorites like Kate Nash, MGMT, RATATAT, Yelle, and Passion Pit, giving them the indie/electro feel I spoke of. Xaphoon then takes these samples and puts his spin on it, resulting in a track that really stands out from Chiddy Bang's hip hop peers.  The duo has released two mixtapes, The Swelly Express, and Air Swell.

Below is Chiddy Bang's music videos for their first two singles, 'Kids' and 'Truth'. They recently released the video for their third single, 'Sooner or Later' where Chiddy filmed a recent trip to his parents hometown in Nigeria.
View that one HERE.

Love this next one. The vocals by Passion Pit frontman Michael Angelakos is why I love this song.

Chiddy Bang has been gaining a lot of respect and attention in the blogosphere since late 2009/early 2010, but has just started reaching widespread popularity with the release of the 'Kids' music video. That same song even peaked on the top of US charts at number 8. Chiddy Bang was signed to EMI back in March, and is releasing their first album, Here We Go, August 24th, 2010.

Two of my Chiddy Bang favs:

Chiddy Bang-Hey London

You can also cop their second mixtape, Air Swell. 'Hey London' is in the download.

MGMT- It's Working

This is my favorite song off of MGMT's sophomore album Congratulations, so I'm glad it's their newest single.

The music video is a nice concept, but what a huge departure away from their earlier stuff like ''Electric Feel".

Benny Benassi feat. Kelis, Aple.de.ap, and Jean-Baptiste- 'Spaceship'

I like Kelis' new sound/look. No more milkshakes.JN64DPVNZ66P
